Can
I register a group, even if I don’t know all the names yet?
It's OK to
register your group in order to obtain group pricing. Enter "placeholder"
text for each member of the group where you don't know the names. (For
example: To Come Later, or A.N. Other, etc.) Be sure to keep the unknown
names under the same email address as your primary contact at the church.
Once you
know the names, you can re-enter the system and choose "Update
an Existing Registration" then add the correct information.
If I decide later to add more people to my
registration, can we get the group rate?
The group
rate is only possible when the required number of registrants are paid
at the same time, and are from the same church/ministry.
Are meals provided?
Your convention
registration does not include meals or accommodation. The convention
center makes affordable meals readily available in the complex. The
Fashion Valley Mall is within easy walking distance, where there are
several affordable food options.
Can I bring my child/ren?
With the
exception of infants, and by prior arrangement, the convention is for
adults only. If you would like to bring your family, we suggest you
contact the hotel for childcare arrangements during convention sessions.
What is the dress code for the event?
Business
casual. November can bring rain in California, although it is often
still quite warm. You will be outdoors between sessions, so bring
an umbrella or raincoat just in case! Rooms can also vary in temperature,
so consider bringing "layers" to adjust accordingly.
Will we need to rent a car?
For those
teams looking at saving expenses, it is really NOT necessary to rent
a vehicle if you're flying in to San Diego airport. There are numerous
shuttles and taxi's available and the hotel is fairly close. All that
you need is on the convention center campus, and the Fashion Valley
Mall is just across a footbridge from the center. There is also a trolley
station to take you to Old Town and other San Diego city sights.
Can I pre-register for the workshops?
Workshops
are first come, first served. However,we will provide the the opportunity
to complete a workshop survey during the summer/early fall. Based
on the results of the survey, we will assign rooms for adequate seating.
Can I bring additional guests to the Comedy
Night?
Any remaining
Comedy Night tickets can be purchased at the registration counters on
the day of the event. We cannot guarantee tickets in advance.
How do we change the name/s in our group
that’s already registered?
Go back to
the registration link, and click on "Update Existing Registration"
Follow the screens through until you are able to change the names.
