KidLife is a ministry dedicated to reaching
elementary-age children for Christ by establishing bible clubs in strategic
locations outside the walls of the church – focusing on elementary
schools and apartment communities. This session offers an overview of
this creative ministry and how you can implement it in your community
to reach children and their families.

We've all heard the old adage made for children's church and its effectiveness: "Parents will ask their kids 2 things after church: 'Did you have fun?' & 'what did you learn?'". What if we went further? Way further. What if the Children's Ministry was THE FRONT DOOR of your church? What if your outreach to children was so effective and so dynamic that it had a weekly presence in the surrounding neighborhoods? What if every child received a personal 'encouragement' phone call every week? We all know the statistics that 80+% of all decisions for Christ happen in childhood. What if we viewed those statistics as so valid and so important that your children's ministry had the best volunteers with the most love and training-and the best resources in the church (even more than the worship ministry? Yes.) What if there was a radically popular soccer league ran through your children's ministry department that focused on sportsmanship and participation rather than winning? Making God's Word Stick: Kids Giving Kids the Word

Today, children worldwide are taught by the prevailing paradigm of fill-in-the-blank Bible learning. Such methods are like a beach ball with a slow leak. There's an initial appearance of the message holding, but the life-changing power of God's Word is going flat and escaping the child's mind and heart.

- To understand and apply spiritual technology of Deuteronomy 6:8, through fun creative methods, using everyday objects as continual reminders.

Within walking distance of almost every church in America there are a number of children who, for whatever reason, do not attend church except possibly for VBS and then are not seen again. This session teaches the specifics of starting and maintaining a successful weekly outreach to unchurched neighborhood children.
You will:
- Learn & be INSPIRED by the possibility of a weekly outreach to unchurched neighborhood children.
- Learn a proven and effective METHOD of reaching unchurched children on a weekly basis.
- Be given the TOOLS required to begin, establish and maintain that neighborhood ministry.

The Modern Day Orphans: Ministry to Kids in Single-Parent or Blended Families

60% of the children growing up today will spend part of their childhood living in a single-parent family. Each year, more than a million children see their parents divorce. It is a crisis so profound that only parental death ranks higher among childhood traumas. Something must be done to bring healing to these hurting parents and their children. The church is uniquely placed to make a difference in the lives of these modern-day widows and orphans.
You will:
- Identify who these modern-day orphans really are.
- Explore the biblical basis for why, the goals in how, we should minister to them.
- Explore what the hurdles to recovery might be with these kids.
- Be provided with a program model to minister to them.
- Be equipped with practical help for them.
