Bobby Brewer Scottsdale, AZ & Pastor, Flood the Desert (New emergent church plant of MVC) Scottsdale, AZ Dr. Robert "Bobby" Brewer is a product of Gen-X who is now the Pastor of Flood the Desert in Scottsdale, Arizona (an emergent church) and Pastor of Spiritual Formation/Outreach at Mountain Valley Church in Scottsdale, AZ. Flood the Desert is an emergent church plant of MVC. Bobby previously served at Scottsdale Bible church where they have a weekly attendance of approximately 6,000 (7 services, 4 of which are geared towards the postmodern). While working on his doctorate, Brewer surveyed over 50 North American churches that are intentionally striving to minister to postmoderns. He is the author of "Postmodernism: What You Should Know and Do About It" Bobby is also the co-author of "Servant Leadership: 7 Distinctive Characteristics of a Servant Leader". He also co-hosts a radio show called "Faith in the Real World" Bobby and his wife Kristen reside in Fountain Hills, Arizona.
